The Web-SynDic system is published. Web-SynDic is a web system for remote demonstration, testing, experimental analysis, and comparing algorithms for solving non-negative linear Diophantine equations. The system is available at http://websyndic.cs.karelia.ru. The software development site is available at http://websyndic.cs.karelia.ru/site. You are welcome to participate and test the system in action.
The list of topics for the course "Team Software Engineering Project" is defined and available. Third-year students of the Faculty of Mathematics majoring in the areas "Applied Mathematics and Computer Science" and "Information Technology" must self-organize into teams of developers, then each team registers in one project presented. Forward the requests to adjunct professor D.G.Korzun (dkorzun@cs.karelia.ru).

Program of the FDPW 2005
Joint student software project (Computer Science Departments of Petrozavodsk and Helsinki Universities) DaCoPAn, participated in the Third Microsoft contest-conference, at Saint-Petersburg State Polytechnical University (SPbSPU) on March 1-2, 2005 . The contest-conference was dedicated for student software projects that developed in accordance with industrial software engineering standards and practice. The international project team consists of PetrSU students: Kirill Kulakov, Аndrei Salo, Andrei Ananin, Mihail Kryshen, Victor Surikov and University of Helsinki (UH) students: Jonathan Brown, Jarkko Laine, Vesa Vainio, Alejandro Fernandez, Jari Aarniala and Carlos Arrastia. Сollective leadership was by Yury Bogoyavlenskiy, Dmitry Korzun (PetrSU) and Juha Taina, Turjo Tuohiniemi, Inkeri Verkamo (UH). The customer of the Project is Markku Kojo (UH).
The Project reached the final and won the 1st place.
